There a several ways to submit radiographs to GVS. If your practice is digital, you may submit using a feature on your system called DICOM SEND. You may also continue to submit films through the mail with the accompanying Submission Form.

Submitting Digital Radiographs

Your digital system has a feature that allows you to send your radiographs directly from your practice to a distant, off-site server. This is called DICOM SEND.

DICOM SEND is typically used for teleradiography services. The process is fairly simple and should take less than 5 minutes of your time. You will need to add our server information to your system under DICOM SEND. Please note that you will still be able to send your studies to your current teleradiography provider. You will only send us the radiographs of the cases that you refer to GVS. In other words, using DICOM SEND will not eliminate or replace the information of the server that you currently send to. You are simply adding another server for the purpose of referral cases.
